Currently enrolled students have access to a range of online learning and web conferencing platforms dependent on what course you are enrolled in.  Your lecturer will advise you which ones are being used in your course.

To access your online learning or web conferencing select a platform from the list below.

Need Help Getting Started?
  • If you cannot login, first check with your lecturer to confirm you have been enrolled in your online course.
  • If you are not enrolled your lecturer will then arrange for you to be added.
  • If you are enrolled and cannot login you will need to have your password reset. Contact your Lecturer to have it reset.
  • If you are having trouble with your course materials or sessions please contact your Lecturer.
  • Please write your password down somewhere handy. TIP - save it in your phone

How to Log In 

  • Select the link above and the Blackboard login screen will display.
  • Enter your student email address in the following format: yourstudentID@tafe.wa.edu.au    e.g. G012345@tafe.wa.edu.au
  • Enter your password. This should be the same password as your current campus computer network account.

Accessing Your Course

  • Once logged in you will automatically be directed to your Home page.
  • The courses that you are enrolled in will be listed.
  • Select a course name to enter your course.
  • If you need help with anything in Blackboard, check the Help and Support Box.

How to Log In

  • Select the link above and the Catapult login screen will display.
  • Enter your username, which is your student number.
  • Enter your password. This should be the same password as your current campus computer network account.
  • For first time users the default password is your birth date  in the following format e.g. TafeDDMMYYYY

Accessing Your Course

  • Read the Student Policy and tick if you agree. This will then lead you to the main page.
  • You will see if you have access to the unit or units you are enrolled in.
Notes for WHS Users
  • If you are enrolled in the whole course on line you need to begin with the following unit BSBWHS402A – Apply knowledge of legislation in the workplace
  • If you are enrolled in just one or two units, you can proceed as you prefer
  • You will need to complete all the assessment activities including:
    • AT1 – formative assessment
    • AT2 – summative knowledge assessment
    • AT3 – projects/portfolio/documentation
    • AT4 – Assessor demonstration/third party reports
    • Any other assessment tasks that may be added as outlined by your lecturer.

 Collaborate is a web conferencing platform used by our lecturers to deliver training to students studying off campus. 

How to Log in

  • Select the link above and the Blackboard Collaborate login screen will display.
  • Enter your student email address in the following format: yourstudentID@tafe.wa.edu.au    e.g. G012345@tafe.wa.edu.au
  • Enter your password. This should be the same password as your current campus computer network account, unless advised otherwise by your lecturer.

 Students enrolled with Central Regional TAFE have access to Microsoft's DreamSpark subscription service, providing free access to a range of Microsoft products including Windows, Office, Server and Development software packages.

How to Log In 

  • Select the link above and the DreamSpark WebStore page will display.
  • Select the login link in the top right-hand corner.
  • Enter your studentID number.
  • Enter your password, this is the same password you use to login to the computer network.
  • For first time users the default password is your birth date in the following format TafeDDMMYYYYeg. Tafe01011980

  • Enter your username, which is your student number.

  • Enter the login and password provided in the email sent to you.  If you have forgotten it, please check with your Lecturer.

 Microsoft Imagine Academy helps bridge the skills gap by providing institutions the curriculum for technology education and learning tools that will enable students and educators to achieve success. Some of our on-line learning is delivered through this on-line learning platform.

How to Log In  

  • Select the link above and the Microsoft Imagine Academy page will display.
  • Select the Sign in button and click on Office 365 account.
  • Enter your student email address in the following format: yourstudentID@tafe.wa.edu.au       e.g. 051231231@tafe.wa.edu.au
  • Enter your password, this is the same password you use to login to the computer network and Student Portal.
  • For first time users the default password is your birth date in the following format TafeDDMMYYYY eg. Tafe01011980
