Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management provides students with a strong foundation in agribusiness and the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in a variety of agricultural and agribusiness related industries. This degree offers agriculture content in all subjects throughout the three year program. It also provides students with opportunities for industry or international experience to expand their knowledge of other cultures and their career opportunities.

Graduates in agriculture and agribusiness are in high demand with an estimated 600 graduates for 2,000-5,000 jobs a year. Future demand is expected to grow with the world population doubling by 2050 and therefore increasing the demand for food, fibre and agribusiness services (Australian Council of Agricultural Deans).

This degree is delivered through face-to-face teaching at the iconic Muresk Institute. The Institute is an educational community located on a working farm 90 kms east of Perth. Accommodation includes single rooms, swimming pool, sporting and recreational facilities. The Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management is being supported by industries looking to employ graduates from the course. This program will give students a strong foundation in agribusiness and the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in a variety of agricultural industries. Industry Support is provided through scholarship opportunities for students enrolled in this course, providing financial support which can be used towards course fees and accommodation.
Flexible Delivery
The course runs as two sessions over the calendar year. Subjects will be delivered in blocks of two days over each 12-week session. The timetable will allow the option to study part-time on campus and only attend classes when subjects are timetabled. This will benefit individuals who travel long distances to attend face to face tuition on campus at the Muresk Institute. For further information on University's session dates .

Gain credit for the study you have already completed. In addition to the arrangements in place with specific universities, a diploma or advanced diploma qualification from us will enable you to gain direct entry into related undergraduate degree courses in most universities throughout Australia. You may also be eligible to gain credits with other universities on a case-by-case basis. If you have completed a diploma or advanced diploma qualification with Central Regional TAFE, you may be able to obtain credits towards a degree at Geraldton Universities Centre (GUC), Central Queensland University, University of Southern Queensland and Charles Sturt University.
