This program offers the best of J483 CPC20112 Certificate II in Construction along with BCX38 52807WA Certificate I in Industrial Skills
Training Package Version : Release 1.0

The selection of units in this combined program with give the client a extensive range of recognised skills such as carpentry, working at heights and in confined space, scaffolding, levelling, use of tools and equipment, skid steer, forklift, excavator and White card. On completion these skills will assist the client in their search for a satisfactory employment outcome in fields such as construction, civil or the mining sector.  

Additional Resources
You will need to wear steel cap safety boots and safety glasses.  Hard Yakka type clothing is preferred.
Licencing Outcomes
Clients must be over 18 to receive a Forklift Licence but can still participate in the unit.
VET Student Loan : This course is NOT eligible for a VET Student Loan.

  • Resource fees - covers materials purchased by the TAFE which will be consumed or transformed by students in the course of instruction, such as workshop materials & workbooks.
  • Other fees - charged for goods and services that are provided by the TAFE such as security, name badges and IT infrastructure. 

In addition to these fees, students may need to purchase textbooks, uniforms and other course specific equipment.
