INTRODUCTION TO TRADE MATHS

The objective of the Trade Maths course is to provide a practical understanding of basic mathematical practices.

By understanding the application of mathematical practices in practical applications the fundamentals are easily grasped and remembered. This course is designed for students wanting to pursue a career in engineering studies as well as anybody wanting to gain an improved understanding of basic applied mathematics.

Specifically you will learn:
•    adding subtraction multiplication and division of whole numbers, decimals and fractions,
•    calculate percentage and employ in a variety of employment situations,
•    apply fundamental operations related to measurements, and
•    apply some basic algebraic and geometric functions to every day situations.

Upon completion of this course you will receive a Certificate of Participation.
