AHCMOM213 - Operate and maintain chainsaws
This course is designed to provide the skills, knowledge and confidence required to safely operate a hand-held chainsaw and maintain it in working condition.
Content covered includes:
- OHS - Duty of Care
- Personal protective equipment and clothing
- Chainsaw components and functions
- General maintenance tasks / tensions
- Correct start-up procedures
- Safe techniques for crosscutting and felling
This is a nationally recognised unit of competency and upon successful completion you will receive a Statment of Attainment
