PEST MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN COURSE

Do you work with pesticides commercially, including herbicides, insecticides or fungicides?

Did you know that all persons who apply pesticides for remuneration are required undert the Health (Pesticides) Regulations 2011 to hold a current Pest Management Technician License with the WA Department of Health?

This Pest Management Technician (Crops & Pastures, Forestry, Pest & Weed Control, Non Cropping & Turf Managment) course provides you with the mandatory accreditation to apply to the WA Department of Health to register as a licensed Pest Management Technician.

Course Content

  • AHCCHM303 - Prepare and apply chemicals
  • AHCCHM304 - Transport and store chemicals
  • AHCPMG301 - Control weeds
  • AHCPMG302 - Control plant pests, diseases and disorders
  • AHCCHM401 - Develop procedures to minimise risks i the use of chemicals
  • AHCCHM402 - Plan and implement a chemical use program

These are nationally recognised units of competency and upon successful completion you will receive a Statemen of Attainment
