REMOTE PILOT LICENCE (DRONE TRAINING)

State ID: 163DRO

Become a Qualified Drone Pilot

PUAWME027 - Assess operational risk.
AHCLPW304 - Carry out inspection of designated area.

By becoming a licensed drone operator you can commercially operate drones up to 2kg and by undertaking this course you can also obtain drone insurance.  It is a little know fact that many people flying drones are not insured.

This license also opens up the opportunity to conduct special drone operations: such as night flying, beyond visual line of sight operations, flying near aerodromes and in restricted airspace.

In this course you will learn to fly a drone with our experienced certified instructor, a graduate with a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) License and cover:

  • Aerial Surveying/Photography/Video Media/Training Surveying.
  • Using Remotely Piloted Aircraft Aerial Surveying/Photography/Video Media/Training/Surveying.
  • Using DJ1 Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 Drones.

These are nationally recognised units of competencies and upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment
