This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to handle, transport, and apply chemicals under supervision using workplace specified chemicals and application equipment.
The unit applies to individuals working in a broad range of job contexts who undertake defined routine activities under supervision. They exercise limited autonomy within established and well-known parameters, providing solutions to a limited range of predictable problems.

RTO Entry Requirements
Students are selected from Parks and Gardens Crews, Horticulture Crews, Farm Crews that are required to use chemicals in their daily work schedule. This may include laundry operations, cleaning, kitchen, horticulture production, gardens, farm staff using chemicals for animal husbandry- drenching, backlining, farm chemical use for crop establishment, maintenance, and weed control.

Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment in Course.
