Botanical Printing

The world of fashion is undergoing dramatic changes, responding to climate change. In this short course you will have the opportunity to use sustainable materials such as silk, wool and cotton to create a range of botanical printing samples. You will then choose a technique to create and embellish a zero waste garment, being mindful of environmental sustainability.

Students will need to bring:

  • Note or sketch book
  • Approximately 2 metres of plain coloured, natural fabric for their final garment
  • 1 reel matching sewing machine thread 
  • 2 skeins hand embroidery thread
  • Pattern tracing fabic 
  • Pens, pencil and fine tipped black art liner
  • Ruler 


Upon successful completion students will receive  Statement of Attainment.
