Combined Construction and Industrial Skills! Two Courses at once!

This program offers the best of Certificate II in Construction along with Certificate I in Industrial Skills.

The selection of units in this combined program will give the client an extensive range of recognised skills, such as carpentry, working at heights and in confined spaces, scaffolding, leveling, use of tools and equipment, skid steer, forklift, excavator and White Card.

On completion these skills will assist you in your search for a satisfactory employment in fields such as construction, civil or the mining sector.

Clients must be over 18 to receive a forklift license but can still participate in the unit.

You will need to wear steel cap safety boots and safety glasses. Hard Yakka type clothing is preferred.

Delivery location, important dates and study options

Training at CRTAFE will be offered with a blended, flexible delivery model to enable social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This approach may include a combination of online and classroom based delivery, as well as practical and work experience placements. While the mode of delivery may vary, the content and key learning outcomes of the course will remain the same. Lecturers will provide specific instructions to their student groups on how training will be undertaken and the support available to them.
