Learn how to work with automated equipment
This course will provide VETDSS students with the knowledge and skills to perform tasks associated with working in an automated workplace.
Discover an overview of the historical development of automation and learn an in-depth coverage of current automation and insight into future extensions. The course will also equip current and prospective workers with the skills needed to demonstrate awareness in the following areas:
- What an autonomous workplace is
- How autonomous workplaces operate
- What unique safety systems are present
- How the human-machine interface operates
- How date is used within such workplaces.

Successful completion of Year 10.
Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate II in Autonomous Workplace Operations.
