Prepare for work as a data cabler or telecommunications technician. This qualification provides competencies to select, assemble, set up and maintain simple equipment and systems to a prescribed routine Certification of telecommunication cabling in buildings and premises. It includes ACMA requirements for Open Cabler registration.

Candidates are able to complete Units relevant to the Nationally recognised ACMA Open Registration through this Qualification / Skill Set however the respective Registration cannot be issued until a prescribed amount of “Paid” Workplace Experience is gathered, this amount is determined by the ACMA & associated Registrars.
