Get those creative juices flowing! Through this course you'll learn how to create two and three dimensional forms in a variety of visual arts areas. This course will help you visualise, develop and present ideas and images. A Certificate III in Visual Arts will give you the skills to design and produce paintings, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, printmaking and electronic art and experiment with materials and techniques. You will also develop knowledge of art history and theory and gain an understanding of current art issues and trends.
Additional Resources
Students will not be required to purchase additional resources for completion of class exercises. However, if the student personally requires additional materials for projects they will need to purchase these individually.

The fees identified above for this course are (predominantly) based on full-time face-to-face delivery (or Apprenticeship/Traineeship delivery) for this course. Fees may vary depending on your choice of units and some delivery modes. You can also find details of all course costs on our Fees page here.
At Central Regional TAFE, three types of fees may be charged:
- Course fees - set by the State Government and are calculated on the category of enrolment. Students studying a certificate course may be eligible for a concession. Concession students pay 30% of the course fees (not incidental, resource or other fees).
- Resource fees - covers materials purchased by the TAFE which will be consumed or transformed by students in the course of instruction, such as workshop materials & workbooks.
- Other fees - charged for goods and services that are provided by the TAFE such as security, name badges and IT infrastructure.
In addition to these fees, students may need to purchase textbooks, uniforms and other course specific equipment.
