A Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy will give you the skills to work as a beauty therapist and provide a range of beauty therapy treatments and services, including lash and brow treatments, nail services, make-up, massage and waxing. Learn to communicate with clients to recommend treatments and services and sell retail skin care and cosmetic products.
You will also learn a broad range of skilled applications, including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and some provision of leadership and guidance to others in the application and planning of skills.
You will learn a range of beauty services including:
- Make-up
- Facial massage
- Massage
- Waxing
- Nail technology services
- Lash and brow treatments, and
- Demonstrate and sell retail skin care and cosmetic products.
You will cover new areas of beauty therapy and gain hands on experience in a simulated work environment where you will perform simple tasks on real clients.
