Take your Horticultural career to the next level.
Perhaps you want to gain formal recognition for your extensive skills and experience, or you're looking to take on a management position within industry, this is the qualification is for you. You'll receive post-trade skills and knowledge across to enable you to enter higher level roles withing the industry.
Some of the main topics include:
- Developing projects and operating within a budget
- Preparing operating procedures
- Managing and supervising irrigation systems
- Supervising natural area restoration work
- Managing organic livestock and biodynamic production

Completion of Certificate III level qualification in this field or equivalent pre-existing skills will be of advantage when applying for this qualification.

Delivery location, important dates and study options
Training at CRTAFE will be offered with a blended, flexible delivery model to enable social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This approach may include a combination of online and classroom based delivery, as well as practical and work experience placements. While the mode of delivery may vary, the content and key learning outcomes of the course will remain the same. Lecturers will provide specific instructions to their student groups on how training will be undertaken and the support available to them.
