The Metalliferous Mining sector involves surface and underground mining of metals such as iron ore, copper, tin, gold, silver, nickel and zinc. Train with us and open the door to career opportunities as a Metalliferous Mine Manager and further industry qualifications such as Quarry Manager Certificate and Underground Supervisor Certificate.
Central Regional TAFE is one of the only training providers in Australia to deliver an Advanced Diploma of Metalliferous Mining. In this course, you will gain practical training and theoretical knowledge to prepare you to perform a broad range of specialised tasks as a metalliferous mine manager.
