Solid Plastering

Solid plasterers work in the building and construction concreting industry. Learn to finish walls, floors and ceilings in gypsum and Portland cement plasters, and construct various mouldings, textured finishes and ornamental restoration work.

Enter and work on a construction site 

You will gain the basic knowledge to safely enter and work on a construction site and includes hazard identification and prevention of workplace accidents and injures. Under Work Health and Safety Legislation you must have a White Card  to enter a construction site. 

Topics covered include:

  • Health and safety requirements
  • Construction hazards and control measures
  • Health and safety communication and reporting process
  • Incident and emergency response procedures 
     

Course Content

The below nationally recognised unit of competency is included in this course:

CPCCWHS1001          Prepare to work safely in the construction industry 

 

Certification 

Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment.

Students will also receive their White Card.
