This skill set aims to provide you with the introductory skills needed to start working in kitchen operations. Learn the basics that will open doors to roles in restaurants, hotels, catering facilities, clubs, pubs, cafes, aged care facilities, schools and more!

This course will cover:

  • Clean kitchen premises and equipment.
  • Use hygiene practices for food safety.
  • Participate in safe work practices.
  • Use food preparation equipment.
  • Prepare and present simple dishes.
