Step into basics with the MYOB Accounting System.

MYOB is Australia’s market-leading accounting software program, and it is a great place to start adding value to your professional development. In this course, you will gain the basic skills required to establish, operate and modify an integrated computerised accounting system. You will learn how to process transactions, maintain the system, produce reports and ensure system integrity.

Specifically, you will learn how to:

  • Modify an existing chart of accounts to suit your business needs
  • Make changes to customer and supplier details in the card file
  • Create an inventory in MYOB AccountRight of items for sale
  • Purchase items for a business in MYOB AccountRight
  • Enter payments for purchases
  • Produce complex invoices
  • Apply customer payments to open invoices
  • Use MYOB AccountRight's cheque facility for making purchases
  • Reconcile MYOB AccountRight data against company bank statements
  • Work with the reporting system
  • Understand how MYOB AccountRight is setup and works with the GST

RTO Entry Requirements

Minimum levels of English, mathematics and computer skills will be required. Certificate of completion to be provided, or skill testing.

Certification

Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment in Course.

Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply. 
  • VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
