This course is for those that have completed the Regulatory Officer Compliance (ROCS) 1 workshop and are wanting to further develop their skills and knowledge. Students will complete two separate workshops over four days.

This Skill Set course is designed specifically for Local Government Rangers, Animal Control Officers, Compliance Officers, Parking Officers, and may also benefit those in allied fields such as Animal Welfare Inspectors or individuals wishing to enter these professions.
Learners will develop the ability to:
- Understand the requirements and responsibilities of enforcement officers working within the local government environment
- Apply emotional intelligence when interacting with local government clients and community members
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Understand court structures and proceedings
- Conduct a model dog‑attack investigation from initial response through to documentation
You will learn:
- LGAREG001 Implement parking controls
- PSPREG008 Act on non-compliance

Assessment will be conducted at one of the following locations:
- Central Regional TAFE Northam campus Globalink
- or Altone Park, Beechboro
