Short Courses

Short courses help you start a higher education and prepare you to work with confidence. These courses can help to advance existing skills or learn something completely new. They can be accredited or non accredited and take minimal hours to complete. 

We provide short courses and skills development solutions across all of our campuses in the Mid West, Gascoyne, Goldfields and Wheatbelt regions.

Short courses are available in many of the industries, including, Computing, Management, Safety, Industry and Mining as well as Verification of Competencies.  TAFE short courses are a great way to learn a new skill in new areas that you might be interested in.  Many new careers and further study  has been launched from a short course that someone has enjoyed.

Prepare yourself for industry
We have a wide range of commercial licencing and ticketing short courses which can improve employment prospects and meet required onsite industry regulations for employment. 

Recreational Skippers Tickets

Licencing for people intending to be in charge of a recreational sea faring vehicle  with more than 6hp (4.5 kW) that is registered or required to be registered with the Department of Transport.

Work Health and Safety

Short courses focussing on hazard and risk management, WHS systems and incident and emergency management
