Being a Tour Guide gives you the opportunity to connect visitors to a wide range of amazing places, by interpreting the features of a place, sharing stories and culture, and looking after the needs of your clients. This short course will provide you with an introduction to tour guiding and give you the skills and knowledge to confidently lead a tour group.

Suitable for those already working within the tourism industry, and for those who have no experience but have an interest in storytelling and enjoy interacting with people.

Secondary school aged persons (in 2021, students born on or after 1 July 2003 who are at least 15 years old in 2021) undertaking training that is not part of a VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program, the maximum course (tuition) fee chargeable is $420. Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply.
VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
