It is vital that new managers understand safety beyond tick and flick compliance to create operational safety where all parties are informed and engaged.
The session will include:
- Roles and responsibilities of “Duty Holders”
- WHS Risk management laws and principles
- Importance and requirements of workplace WHS consultation
- What HSR's do and how they can help your team
- Notifiable incidents and their investigation needs

Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment in Understanding Your Role with Changed WHS Laws.

- Secondary school aged persons (in 2023, students born on or after 1 July 2005 who are at least 15 years old in 2023) undertaking training that is not part of a VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program, the maximum course (tuition) fee chargeable is $420. Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply.
- VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
