Adult Learners

Are you over 25 and wanting to make a fresh start, but don’t know how or where?

It can be a daunting thought if you have been out of the learning environment or the workforce for many years or if you’re just not sure what you want to do. That’s why we have a number of foundation courses for you to ease back into study mode and gain the skills needed to re-enter the workforce or undertake a further study pathway.

Foundation courses are for those who want to boost their confidence and employability. They can be a great starting point for those who did not gain a qualification at high school or have not studied or worked for a long time.

We offer a variety of learning programs for adult learners to make a seamless transition back into study, including;

  • New Opportunities for Women (NOW program)
  • Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE)
  • General Education for Adults -  Certificate I and above

Central Regional TAFE also offers a number of short courses to suit every interest and learning capability. If you would like to have a complimentary and confidential chat with one of our student support team members for some guidance on how to take the next step you can call 1800 672 700 or email to make an appointment at your local campus.
