Central Regional TAFE offers Spoken and Written English qualifications from Certificate I to Certificate III.

New migrants and English as an Additional Language

Scholarships, bursaries and support
Eligible international students studying at regional TAFE colleges may be able to access the WA Regional TAFE International Student Bursary.
The bursary provides financial support of AUD $5,000 for eligible students. It gives students the opportunity to study, work and live in regional Western Australia.
This bursary is available for a limited time for students starting in 2026.
Eligible study packages and conditions apply. Available campuses include Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Northam.

Applying to study
International students must apply through TAFE International Western Australia, also known as TIWA.
TIWA manages applications for international students who want to study at TAFE in Western Australia.
International students who want to study in Western Australia must apply through TAFE International Western Australia.
Depending on your home country, you may need to apply through an approved Education Agent. You may also need to organise your student visa through your agent.
If you need help with your application, course options or referral to an Education Agent, TAFE International Western Australia can provide support.
Some students living in Australia on non-resident visa subclasses may be able to study at Central Regional TAFE.
