Three Central Regional students joined Team WA in the Australian National Championships, held in Perth at the end of 2021.

Goldfields school-based student Jack Pentingill won gold in the VETiS Automotive Services competition, commended for his knowledge and attention to detail.

Ethan Wallace, Goldfields Off-Road Apprentice Mechanic gave an outstanding effort against some tough interstate competitors in the Automotive Mechanics Competition.

Midwest Apprentice Aimee-Lee Vince's skills impressed the judges, receiving a Certificate of Excellence in the Hairdressing competition.

Goldfields Automotive lecturer and experienced WorldSkills Judge Adrian Gooneratne was once again invited to be a judge at the prestigious National Competition. Adrian and our Geraldton Hairdressing lecturers provided many months of additional training to help our competitors prepare to put their best forward at the competition and they certainly did just that.

TeamWA was awarded the VETiS Shield as the best-performing state in the national competition.

We sure have some of the best in the country and we couldn’t be prouder. Well done to you all.
