Sue Abé Diploma of Nursing Study Scholarship - Applications currently closed
Central Regional TAFE (CRT) and Mr David Abé, husband of the late Sue Abé, are offering one $800.00 scholarship to a full-time student who is enrolled in the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing - Stage 2 at the Northam campus. The scholarship has been made available to assist the successful applicant with study/resource fees associated with course costs.
Background to the scholarship
The Study Scholarship is in memory of Sue Abé who received a high level of nursing care during her illness. The Abé family provided financial support to one of the nursing staff who assisted Sue whilst in care. The sponsorship enabled this nurse to complete her nursing qualification and take her place in the health care industry. Witnessing the difference this financial assistance made and acknowledging the importance of qualified nursing staff, David Abé made a further donation to provide financial support to a student who has demonstrated a commitment to their studies and is seeking to enrol in further studies and/or obtain employment in the health care profession.
