We provide short courses and skills development solutions across the Mid West, Gascoyne, Goldfields and Wheatbelt regions. Short courses range from Computing, Management, Safety, Industry and Mining as well as Verification of Competencies.

We offer clients a unique product by customising courses to meet their specific needs. Our training is conducted either on-site or on-campus and offers the flexibility of selecting a set date or choosing a date and time that suits you.

Our training will be offered with a blended, flexible delivery model to enable social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This approach may include a combination of online and classroom based delivery, as well as practical and work experience placements. While the mode of delivery may vary, the content and key learning outcomes of the course will remain the same. Lecturers will provide specific instructions to their student groups on how training will be undertaken and the support available to them.

This short course is designed to address the needs of a range of officers for whom ensuring compliance with local government legislation, regulations and by-laws is central to their role.

This workshop has been designed to consolidate Local Government appointed Fire Control Officer's roles and responsibilities during the fire season. Property owners and occupiers within a local government district have a statutory obligation to comply with the requirements set out in the annual bush fire notice.

Fire Control Officers conduct inspections throughout the year to identify properties that will require work such as the instillation of firebreaks, prior to the bush fire season.

GovHack is an international event which attracts thousands of participants each year who come together in simultaneous events taking place in major and regional cities across the country.

The event requires competitors to work in small teams during the 46 hour event to produce a ‘hack’ using Australian government data. Teams are judged on the production of a three minute video explaining their idea and its future potential.
