Bring your creativity to life. Turn your ideas into individual or mass produced consumer products, such as furniture packaging or any type of 3D item. Your ideas will be developed into design using design processes, creative thinking and problem solving techniques together with knowledge of materials and the application of computer technologies and manufacturing systems.

Join the largest open data hackathon in the southern hemisphere.

GovHack is an international event which attracts thousands of participants each year who come together in simultaneous events taking place in major and regional cities across the country.

The event requires competitors to work in small teams during the 46 hour event to produce a ‘hack’ using Australian government data. Teams are judged on the production of a three minute video explaining their idea and its future potential.

It is FREE to register and there are no costs associated with participating in the event.

Photography is arguably one of the most powerful art forms and means of communication. Success in this field requires a combination of sound technical skills and an intuitive sense of what makes a good photograph. Studying photography will encompass photographic illustration in diverse fields such as advertising, industrial and commercial, domestic (wedding and portraiture), photojournalism, fashion and ​photography business management.​​

Our training can be your stepping stone to Perth’s internationally renowned music scene, or you could produce, present or edit a breakfast or drive time show and have millions of listeners captivated by your work.​​ During your training, you will not only gain extensive industry knowledge, you will also develop broad, transferable skills that apply to performance, business management and sound engineering. Develop your skills using our industry standard professional recording studios and live performance venue with full staging, lighting and sound production.

There’s no business like show business. And there’s no show without all the work going on behind the scenes. Screen and Media students learn by working hands on in a production studio, in a range of roles.

Learn how to unleash your creativity while building your technical skills. By studying jewellery design you will research, develop and refine design ideas, learn a range of practical jewellery fabrication skills as well as complementary skills in digital design, photographic and professional presentation.

An interior design course will provide you with skills to create vibrant and functional interior spaces. You’ll learn to mesh creativity with technical skills to meet and exceed client expectations.

Studying graphic design will equip you with the practical skills and knowledge to produce exciting creative graphic images for print reproduction and digital media. You will develop a core set of graphic design capabilities in a broad range of areas. You will explore areas such as colour, 2D and 3D forms. Plus, you will learn how to interpret a client brief and produce strong image concepts and communication ideas.

Fashion is a high intensity industry favouring designers who are versatile and creative problem solvers with good communication skills and network. Studying fashion will develop you so that you area able to produce unique ranges of garments and accessories for the marketplace. You will develop skills in fashion illustration and drawing skills, digital design, marketing, pattern making and garment construction. Along the way you will gain knowledge and skills in areas such as fabric technology, textiles, history of design and computer generated design.

Discover a competitive edge and bring it to market. Study an advertising, marketing or public relations qualification and you’ll learn about the importance of the marketing mix – a blend of product, price, place and promotion. Upon completion you will be able to work in a range of industries.
