Cake Decorating Skills Set

Have heads turning with your amazing creations! In this 2-day weekend course students will develop the skills to decorate cupcakes on the first day and a single cake on the second day. Learn the best tips and tricks from an experienced and licensed cake maker, whilst taking in the beautiful grounds at the Muresk Institute.

About this course

Petits fours are bite sized treats that are perfect for high tea, tastings, buffets, dessert platters, catering and cake shops. From classic to contemporary, immerse yourself in one of our patisserie short courses that will teach you how to create perfectly shaped moulded pastries ready for your own high tea. The recipes provided in this class are designed so the students can use them after class as either petit fours sized cakes or larger cakes. Students will also learn about food safety and hygiene.

GovHack Skills Set

Join the largest open data hackathon in the southern hemisphere.

GovHack is an international event which attracts thousands of participants each year who come together in simultaneous events taking place in major and regional cities across the country.

The event requires competitors to work in small teams during the 46 hour event to produce a ‘hack’ using Australian government data. Teams are judged on the production of a three minute video explaining their idea and its future potential.
