ACMGAS305 - Rescue animals and apply basic first aid

Do you have a genuine love for native wildlife and a passion for making a difference in their well-being.

This two day accredited course will instruct you on how to rescue injured wildlife, administer first aid, and support their rehabilitation. 

This is a nationally recognised unit of competency and upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment

PEST MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN COURSE

Do you work with pesticides commercially, including herbicides, insecticides or fungicides?

Did you know that all persons who apply pesticides for remuneration are required under the Health (Pesticides) Regulations 2011 to hold a current Pest Management Technician License with the WA Department of Health?

This Pest Management Technician (Crops & Pastures, Forestry, Pest & Weed Control, Non Cropping & Turf Management) course provides you with the mandatory accreditation to apply to the WA Department of Health to register as a licensed Pest Management Technician.

COMMUNITY GARDENING

Learn about gardening in our challenging Exmouth climate and find out about the fantastic Exmouth Community Garden.
In partnership with Exmouth Community Garden, Central Regional TAFE are offering hands-on gardening sessions at the Community Garden, where you can also meet the members and see what they are doing to promote self-sufficiency and sustainability.

These are non-accredited workshops and upon completion participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
