Semester dates can vary between portfolios, so please check with your teaching area for exact dates.​​

Monday 30 January to Friday 30 June

Application and enrolment dates

Direct Applications

Part-time, online, skill sets or short courses

Dates for enrolment will vary depending on the course you have selected and the campus you would like to attend. Enrolments for part-time, online, intensive or short courses can be taken at any time throughout the year. 

TAFE Admissions Applications

On-campus full-time courses

Popular full time courses - HLT54115 | Diploma of Nursing(opens in a new tab)  (opens in a new tab) and ACM40418 | Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing(opens in a new tab)  (opens in a new tab) - are considered competitive or in-demand - meaning you will need to apply ahead to ensure you are considered for a place in the course. Applications are made through TAFE Admissions Online (a system used by all TAFE's in WA to process student applications for popular courses).

Other qualifications and campuses

Applying through TAFE Admissions is not required, direct enrolment with us is accepted for the majority of courses.

What if you miss the closing date?

Don't worry you can still express your interest in the course as there may still be vacancies. If it has started or the intake is full, our team will help you find another suitable study option.


TAFE Admissions Key Dates - Semester 1, 2023

Main intake and preference changes have been extended until Friday 9 December, 2022. You can change your preferences by logging in via TAFE Admissions Online(opens in a new tab) .

Up to this date, you can:

  1. Add new preferences, for any course
  2. Change the order of the preferences
  3. Cancel preferences
  4. Change the campus of an existing preference

 

Late applications open Saturday 3 December, 2022

Late applications will be accepted for most courses, but some courses will no longer be available if filled through the main intake of applications. Students are encouraged to apply during the main intake of applications to maximise the chance of success.

Applications will be considered for remaining places via TAFE Admissions Online (opens in a new tab)

Non-competitive courses

Offers are made throughout the intake for courses that are not competitive.

Offers are available online at TAFE Admissions Online (opens in a new tab) and will be emailed using the email address supplied in the application.

Competitive courses
Monday 5 September, 2022

Offers are available online at TAFE Admissions Online (opens in a new tab) and will be emailed from 12noon using the email address supplied in the application.

Offers for late applications (competitive courses)
Saturday 3 December, 202

Offers for late applications will be released as main intake enrolments are completed and available places are known. Students who do not receive an offer during this time will be placed on the waitlist.

Offers are available online at TAFE Admissions Online (opens in a new tab) and will be emailed from 12noon using the email address supplied in the application.

Waitlist applications open Friday 6 January, 2023
Waitlist applications will be accepted for courses not filled through the main intake and late applications. Not all courses will be available during this period, and applications will only be considered if places are still available.

Waitlist applications close Friday 210 February, 2023
No further offers will be issued after this date, and students who missed out are encouraged to apply in Semester 2, 2022.
