The course in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE) (Introductory) is a bridging/preparatory course enabling learners to extend their general education, prior to entering a range of vocational training programs, employment or community participation.
Students enrol in either the Introductory GATE course, or the general GATE course, depending upon their individual skill levels prior to commencing. The way the course is delivered depends on the needs of the student. This introductory course allows you to extend your knowledge and skills in communication, numeracy, technology, study skills and personal development.
