Our Moora campus is the hub for training and education in the Northern region of the Wheatbelt. Located 175 kms away from Perth and 279 South East of Geraldton, this prosperous community and surrounds is home to approximately 6,000 people throughout the Shires of Dalwallinu, Wongan Hills, Dandaragan, Gingin, Chittering and Moora. The locality of Moora is considered the most substantial wheat belt town between Geraldton and Perth.
Due to the unique location of this town and campus, a diverse range of commercial opportunities exist, particularly in the areas of agriculture and business.
Central Regional TAFE aims to cater for the diverse needs of the community by remaining committed to making your training experience as positive as possible.
Due to our commitment to providing quality training, Central Regional TAFE is able to offer customised, flexible and online options for individuals to suit your individual needs for family, work and lifestyle commitments.
As commercial training providers we are also able to offer training to suit the needs of your business and staff by providing accredited training suited to your requirements.
Our computer lab is located on campus and is fully equipped with workstations, software and internet access to encourage students to undertake their studies in a welcoming environment.
We have a conference room which includes two way video and audio communication to many locations.
The strong presence of the Agricultural industry within the region led to the addition of plant shade houses on campus where, in collaboration with local shires, we we grow seedlings for the planting and vegetation of the region.
We have a second computer lab located on campus that is fully equipped with workstations, internet access and the latest software specialising in the areas of multimedia and graphics, encouraging students to undertake their studies in a well- equipped environment.
Enjoy our friendly space where students can recharge and relax during study breaks. It is equipped with a microwave, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities.
In our trades workshops we have the equipment and machinery to deliver building and construction training, apprentice block training in the area of heavy commercial vehicle mechanical technology and a number of short courses including forklift, chainsaw operation and welding.
Our on-site art facility in the base for our art delivery programs. We have a number of resources available including picture framing and screen printing equipment.
Free parking is available on campus with designated accessibility parking bays available.
