The Northam campus is the main training facility in the Avon region, servicing the town of Northam and Shires of Toodyay, York, Northam, Goomalling and Dowerin.

Just an hour east of Perth, the picturesque Avon region is rich in primary industries and history.

Our Northam campus is fast becoming known as a centre of excellence in primary industries, delivering a large range of training options throughout the Wheatbelt including Horticulture, Grain Production and many more.  The Rangers' training we offer is regarded as the best available in Western Australia (according to industry leaders).

Offering a range of training courses from Certificate I to Diploma in a variety of industry areas, we are focussed on making your training experience as positive as possible. That's why we offer short, flexible and online options so there's always time for your family, work and lifestyle commitments.

The Bookshop is located on campus between reception and the library for your textbook and stationery needs and is open every term day.

The Bookshop is open from Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm.

Business Office Unit

We provide a large range of training in the fields of business and information technology, offering an excellent simulated Business Office Unit, where students gain hands-on office experience, without leaving the campus.

The canteen is the social hub of the campus. It’s open every term day from 8:00am – 3:30pm. Food and beverages are available including hot and cold lunches, salads, desserts and snacks. Tea and coffee facilities are available and Barista-style coffee can be made to order.

Computer Lab

Our computer lab is located on campus and is fully equipped with workstations, software and internet access to encourage students to undertake their studies in a welcoming environment.

Conference Room

We have a conference room which includes two way video and audio communication to many locations.

Trades Workshops

We have two trades workshops on site. The first is the Peter Payne Trade Centre which specialises in Electrotechnology, Fabrication and Construction and the second is the Automotive Technology Skills Centre.

Our workshops enable industry relevant raining in engineering, automotive, building, construction trades and electrotechnology.

Our pre-apprenticeship course in electrotechnology is popular with students aiming to gain an apprenticeship in this field.

The Automotive Technology Skills Centre focuses on automotive training for both light and heavy vehicles and includes facilities such as a unit for the installation, servicing and licensing of LP Gas; a tyre fitting section; an array of automotive diagnostic instruments; an injection and fuel pump facility and four interior bays, two of which are work bays and two are hoist bays.
