The world of engineering is very exciting and offers fantastic job and career opportunities in a wide range of occupations.
This qualification will give you the knowledge and skills to improve your prospects of employment in an engineering or related occupation. You will learn about the industry, so that you can have a better understanding of what particular area of engineering you would like to get into.
You will also gain entry level skills and knowledge to be job ready, including occupational health and safety in the workplace; how to undertake basic engineering projects; using a range of workshop machines and hand and power tools; and the use of different welding and fabrication equipment for specific jobs.

RTO Entry Requirements
This is VETDSS Program aimed at Secondary Aged Students in Years 10-12 attending Secondary School and enrolled in a VET Program.
Able to read to Year 10 standard (ACSF Level 2 - 3) and understand directions in English.
LLN Testing - LLN Robot is available, High School literacy assessments may also be utilised.
Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate II in Engineering Pathways.
