If you are looking to get trade qualified as a boilermaker / welder, this is the course for you!

You will learn professional level mechanical cutting, metal fabrication, and a wide range of welding processes. You will also gain proficiency using hand tools, industrial machinery, taking measurements and performing calculations so that you're ready to become a licensed tradesperson.

This qualification is for trade apprentices working under qualified boilermakers or welders.

Half-price

This course is half price for everyone (excl. school students) as part of the Lower Fees, Local Skills initiative. Fees are also capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession. Find out more here.

This training can only be accessed through a training contract arrangement as an Apprentice.

Certification

Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding).

Details

This apprenticeship course is a full-time employment-based training program over 4 years.  Learners will attend TAFE for scheduled face-to-face classes and practical workshops in blocks over a 3 year training period.

You must have a Training Contract to enrol in an Apprenticeship course.
