You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the aged care industry or disability sector, caring, enabling people to maintain independence. You will gain an understanding about supporting people with dementia, safety procedures, ethical behaviour, infection control, working with cultural diversity, and workplace health and safety.

You will develop the skills and knowledge required to provide personal, physical and emotional support to people who require assistance with daily living, including the elderly and people with disabilities.
