When you complete the Certificate IV in Community Services Work, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to start your career in community support as an outreach officer, welfare support worker, or case worker.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to communicate and work effectively in the community services sector; promoting social, emotional and physical wellbeing; responding to critical situations including children at risk; assisting collective action; and also learn about working with cultural diversity; ethical behaviour and legal responsibilities.
