When you complete the Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies you'll be a step closer to a career as an enrolled nurse.
You will gain the knowledge and skills to ease comfortably into studying nursing. You will learn about anatomy, physiology, and microbiology, medical terminology, applied mathematics, physics and chemistry, as well as study skills.
The Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies provides the academic knowledge for entry into the Diploma of Nursing.
This course will be FREE from 1 January 2023. The course fees are 100 per cent subsidised by the WA State Government.

RTO Requirements
Prospective students are counselled towards courses at the appropriate AQF level, which will enable them to meet the benchmarks for a Certificate IV level qualification entry requirement.
Compliance with entry requirements is checked and archived by lecturers prior to enrolment.
At orientation, students complete an assessment of literacy and numeracy supplied by the Central Regional TAFE. This helps students and lecturers to decide appropriate level of support for the college to provide in this area.

Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies.

Many of our courses offer flexible learning options that provide you with the opportunity to study WHENEVER and WHEREVER suits you. Typically, flexible, and self-paced options are part-time and open for enrolment all year round, allowing you to start, enrol and study continuously.
Once you enrol into your chosen units, you will have six (6) months from the date of your enrolment to complete your study.
