When you complete the Diploma of Conservation and Ecosystem Management you will be ready for a career in conservation work, parks and wildlife, or regeneration work.
You will have the skills and knowledge to lead in the land conservation industry, specialising in areas such as Indigenous land management, ecosystem rehabilitation, conservation, parks management, wildlife management, marine and water management.

- How to develop a management plan for a designated area
- How to conduct biological surveys
- How to design a natural area restoration project

VET Student Loans
This qualification is eligible for the Commonwealth Government's VET Student Loan scheme. Eligible students can opt to defer the payment of all or part of their tuition fees by applying for a VET Student Loan. VET Student Loans will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements. Approved loans become a personal debt with the Commonwealth (HELP debt) until it is repaid.

Entry Requirements
Completion of Certificate IV in Conservation and Land/Ecosystem Management or equivalent is highly recommended and/or experience working within the natural resource management sector.
Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Diploma of Conservation and Ecosystem Management.

Many of our courses offer flexible learning options that provide you with the opportunity to study WHENEVER and WHEREVER suits you. Typically, flexible, and self-paced options are part-time and open for enrolment all year round, allowing you to start, enrol and study continuously.
Once you enrol into your chosen units, you will have six (6) months from the date of your enrolment to complete your study.
