Safely use an elevating work platform.
In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a boom-type elevating work platform (EWP) where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more.
Topics covered include:
- Hazard and risk control
- Setting up and operating a EWP
- Conducting routine checks of equipment
- Shutting down and securing the equipment
Course Requirements
Students will need:
- Steel capped boots
- Long pants
- Two coloured passport photos and two forms of identification
Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment.
A WorkSafe fee for the High Risk Licence is included into the course fee and completed applications and fees will be sent directly to WorkSafe. An interim licence will be issued to allow EWP operation until application is processed.
