Be prepared for and educated about reptilian encounters in any environment. The application of the skills learnt in this short course can be applied at home, at the workplace, and beyond.

Learn how to capture and handle reptiles safely.

This one day workshop will provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Describe the basic behaviour of reptiles and safe handling
  • Correct methods of transporting reptiles
  • The legal requirements of capturing and handling reptiles
  • Understanding symptoms and signs of snake bite
  • Demonstrate first aid management of a person who has been bitten by a snake

Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply. 
  • VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
