Bring home the bacon with a Certificate III in Pork Production.
This entry level qualification provides an occupational outcome in the pork industry. The pork industry expects that graduates from this qualification will be able to perform a range of tasks associated with a person performing the job role of a piggery attendant.

- How to establish and maintain breeding programs
- How to transport livestock
- How to comply with industry animal welfare requirements
- How to contribute to work health and safety processes

Certificate III in Pork Production is ONLY delivered in a partnership with Pork Industry Training WA (PITWA), dependant of piggery stockpersons expression of interest into the course.
A minimum number of students must be reached.
The course structure has scheduled block delivery for the learning requirements for each unit of competency and practical sessions for learners to participate in the performance requirements.

The following elective units that will be delivered as a part of this qualification are not currently displayed in the list of available electives:
Group A
- AHCLSK342 Prepare animals for parturition
- AHCPRK309 Pregnancy test pigs
- AHCPRK310 Artificially inseminate pigs
Group B
- AHCPRK308 Monitor dry sow performance
Once these units are approved by DTWD, participants in this qualification may be required to enrol in these units.
Certification
Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate III in Pork Production.
